What's new?
When I was growing up, people had jobs, interests, and hobbies. Nowadays, we also have the all-encompassing word “maker” to describe people who are driven to create things — whatever they may be. I’ve always been a maker; if I saw something I wanted, or dreamed it up, I’d simply make it myself. I still do, to a large extent. On any given day, when I’m not at my day job as an English teacher, I can be found writing, working on product design for my Etsy shop, content creation for my Two Old Droids Instagram account, researching and writing about horrible food imagery for Yuckylicious, and developing and play testing games. Because it’s winter, I probably have a jigsaw on the go, too. I’m a sucker for that satisfying old-school dopamine hit that keeps you searching for that next piece that fits just right. There’s an exciting announcement coming soon about a project I’ve worked on for a very long time that’s finally coming to fruition!
In the meantime, here’s a jigsaw that I made. Happy new year, |
